Ready for a taste of Hawai’i?
For lovers of SPAM musubi, the sticky rice snack coming to the bodega for two days only in March will be a drool-worthy opportunity to support a fellow woman-owned local business, Lei Musubi. These onigiri (rice balls) with kimchi, furikake and unagi drizzle are sandwiched between crispy nori to protect your fleeky manicure. This popular childhood snack was also given a twist by Lei Musubi founder Vivien Bang.
No RSVP or tickets required. Just stop by the bodega on Saturday, March 2nd & Sunday, March 3rd from 11 a.m. until sold out both days! Vivien calls these vintage rice balls "sushi tacos" and we're sure you'll love her elevated and handheld snack presentation.
